Pickaway County Shop Raided for Illegal Gambling Machines

Agents from the Commission, along with the Pickaway County Sheriff's Office and the Ohio Attorney General's Office Bureau of Criminal Investigation served search warrants on two locations associated with a suspected illegal casino operation. The joint investigation was initiated following numerous complaints that Spinners - located near Circleville - was operating slot machines that paid out cash prizes in violation of Ohio law.

Warrants were served at Spinners and a residence in Ashville belonging to Spinners owner Stephen Cline. Cash, documents and 143 gaming machines were seized during the operation.
