Gaming Machines Seized as Part of Illegal Casino Investigation

Commission Gaming Agents recently served search warrants on six locations associated with a suspected illegal casino operation. The investigation began following a complaint that a business in Galloway, Ohio was operating machines that paid out cash prizes in violation of Ohio law.

Gaming machines, cash and documents were seized during the multi-county raid, which included locations in Clark, Franklin, Madison, Scioto and Union counties. No arrests were made.

Authorities with the Ohio Bureau of Criminal Investigation, Clark County Sheriff’s Office, Hilliard Police Department, Madison County Sheriff’s Office, New Boston Police Department, Scioto County Sheriff’s Office, Springfield Police Department and Union County Sheriff’s Office assisted in the operation.
