The Legal Division serves as general counsel for the Commission’s members, Executive Director, and employees.  In so doing, this Division advises and counsels on issues of policy and procedure including: administration, personnel, budget, operations, gaming, licensing, enforcement, and all other matters that may emerge in the course of regulating casino gaming, skill games, fantasy contests, and sports gaming, as well as operating a state agency.  The Legal Division is also actively involved in the development and implementation of the Commission’s regulatory framework.  Finally, this Division works collaboratively with its assigned counsel from the Ohio Attorney General’s Office on litigated matters involving the Commission.
