Three Cleveland women have been indicted in federal court for their roles in a scheme to pass bad checks. The women allegedly deposited forged and counterfeit checks into the bank accounts of individuals they were working with, then would later withdraw the funds - often using the Horseshoe Casino Cleveland to access the accounts. The fraudulent deposits totaled roughly $165,000.
Commission Gaming Agents assisted the FBI and the U.S. Attorney's Office with the investigation.
