The Ohio Casino Control Commission (OCCC) today announced that a search warrant was served on a suspected illegal casino operation in Perry County. OCCC Gaming Agents launched an investigation into Lady Luck Skill Games in New Lexington after receiving complaints the business was operating machines that paid out cash prizes in violation of Ohio law.
“The Commission is committed to ensuring gaming in Ohio is conducted legally and with integrity, and will hold accountable those who violate the law,” said Matthew T. Schuler, Executive Director of the Ohio Casino Control Commission.
The warrant was served at Lady Luck Skill Games, 11430 Ohio Route 37 in New Lexington. Gaming machines, cash and documents were seized during the operation. No arrests were made, and the investigation is ongoing.
Authorities from the Perry County Sheriff’s Office and New Lexington Police Department assisted with today’s operation.
